Baritone Demian Matushevskyi was born in Ternopil, Ukraine. He graduated from the Pyotr Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in 2019. During his studies, he has participated in several of the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre productions, performing the role of Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), etc. In 2020-2022 he was a member of the NRW Opera Studio, Germany. In the 2022/2023 season he performed several roles in the Cologne Opera such as Schaunard (La Bohème), etc.
