Born in Donetsk, Ukraine, Teona Todua studied piano in her hometown. After graduating in 2011, she joined the P. Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kyiv where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in opera singing in 2017 and her Master's degree in 2022. She won the 3rd prize at the Grandi Voci competition in Instanbul in 2020 and the first prize at the Wassy Slipak competition in Lviv. Teona Todua joins the Académie de l'Opéra national de Paris in September 2022.
