Maria Knihnytska was born in Ukraine in 1995. She started her musical studies in the Pyotr Stolyarskiy special music school in Odessa.
In 2012 Maria entered the Odessa National A. V. Nezhdanova Academy of Music, getting bachelor’s and master’s degrees in both opera singing and choir conducting.
In 2020 Maria was invited to work as a soloist in the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Dnipro, Ukraine.
After the war started in February, Maria had to leave the country with her family. At the moment she is living in the Netherlands, performing in different projects and doing charity concerts to support her country and friends in these difficult times.
